The excitement from the last week continues. The festive week and the celebrations of gathering the record number of reviews in one week are overwhelming.

The victory of good over evil made us think and we took a close look of the reviews that we already have. We put together the current trend. What are the things that the employees like in their respective companies and what are the ones they don’t?

I will write about the views on what employees don’t like about their workplaces in this post.

Some of the reviews are conservative and talk about issues which goes back time immemorial. Yes your guess is correct - disparity in compensation and having a godfather at work.

We are also witnessing some issues which we are sometimes aware of, but not really vocal. The focus seems to be now shifting from compensation to career planning. Employees want to be aware of what is in store for them.

One very valuable observation came in from a senior employee at EXL Services, was about loosing clients because of people, processes, paper work etc. I feel when employees start thinking holistically about a company performance then it is a different journey all together.
