Hey I checked out your website. Its content is really interesting but cannot be sure about its efficacy.

Our opinion is that while a single review may not be accurate, by going through a group of reviews about a company you would still get a decent idea about the prevailing work culture. This would be helpful for job seekers targeting that company, researchers, and for salary benchmarking.

Also, during registration please tell how do you intend to use the comments provided at that time.

At the time of the registration, as you would have noticed the user goes through a questionnaire and also has a box to record his comments. This we publish on the site, after reviewing the content for inappropriate words and language. We do not add anything nor do we change the essence of the message. The review is only to ensure that no offensive comments amounting to slander are posted.

According to me, the comments asked during registration are generally given so as to just complete the process.

I somewhat agree with you; here also the moderation process comes in useful. There are few users who put in junk data, which is systematically weeded out and only clean information is presented on the site.

A general user might just want to see the comments given for his/her company and for that he has to register. So if the comments given at the time of registration are used further, then I don’t think it would be a good idea.

We do provide access to sneak reviews of companies of your choice, without signing in. Also a user can see the salary reviews on the site, again without signing in. This requirement has only been put in to ensure that the community keeps on growing. Otherwise people would just look at reviews posted by others and the new reviews will be difficult to come by. We feel this is a win win solution because by giving one review, the user can access thousands of reviews in return.

Rest the concept is really good. You can also get some ideas from Beprepared.in.

Thanks for the suggestion and any future comments you may have.
